Angela Prato is nationally recognized for her beautiful and elegant Egyptian Style. She has spent a lifetime studying dance, beginning at the age of 3 and in 2007 she placed first runner up in the Belly Dancer of the Universe contest. Angela teaches in the Canton, Ohio area, where she is also a featured dancer in several restaurants and clubs. She has chosen to focus on the classical Egyptian style of belly dance, known as Raks Sharki, as well as traditional folkloric dances from the Middle East and beyond.  Angela has performed with many famous singers and bands throughout her career. One highlight of her belly dance journey was performing on stage with super star Lucy of Cairo. Besides Raks Sharki she is also classically trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Flamenco and Polynesian.

Angela will teach a modern Egyptian choreography  to "Drama Queen" BDSS#3
